The purple dots invade my face,
Invade my mind, invade my space.
The panther stalks throughout the room,
His yellow eyes speak endless doom.
Maybe it's too much coffee I drink,
Or just that it's too deep I think.
It's all that and more beside,
Contains everything I hold inside.
Everything with my eyes I see,
All comes crashing back to me.
The smell of cheese invades my brain,
And it leaves a permanent stain.
All in all, it's me I fear,
And the strange things that I hear.
There's no way to escape from them,
Open my eyes and drink them in.
Hallucinations rule my life.
