I learned the basic part of this meditation from a sycamore tree a number of years ago, then it was added to to become what it is.

In a standing position
With your feet shoulder-width apart
Knees bent slightly
Arms relaxed at your side
Hands open and relaxed

Close your eyes
Take three deep breaths
Relax your thoughts

Now focus on the core of your being
Just above your naval
As you focus on your core also focus your core energy
When you feel your core energy
Allow it to reach down through your body like the trunk of a tree including your hands
Down through your knees
Down through your feet
Down through your earth chakra about 18" below your feet
Down into the earth like the roots of a tree

As the roots go deep into the earth
Allow them to spread out into the earth like a grand old growth tree
First big roots
Then smaller and then even smaller

When you feel the energy connecting deep in the earth
Allow your energy and the earth's energy to begin to return
Up through your roots from the smallest to the larger
Then up through the largest roots

Now feel it come up through your earth chakra
Up through your feet
Up through your knees
Up through your hips back to your core

Allow the earth's energy to blend with your energy
Now feel your energy reach out through your waist
Out into the world like the tree roots into the earth
Feel your energy connect with the love, life and light energy of the world

Now allow your energy and the love, life and light energy of the world to return back the way it went to the core of your being
Allow your energy, the earth's energy, and the love, life and light energy of the world to blend together
Now feel your energy reach up from your core through your chest
As you raise your arms your energy flows up through your head and arms
Then out your head and hands through your spirit chakra that is about 18" above your head
Up like the branches of the tree reach to the sky
Your energy reaches up into the spirit realm through the smallest branches

Connect with the spirit energy and allow your energy and the spirit energy to return the way your energy went
Back to the core of your being
Now blend your energy with the spirit energy, earth energy, and the love, life and light energy of the world
Now feel all the blended energy expand and blend through your whole being
